Alert: The caller says they are from Account Services, they assure you nothing is wrong with your account and then ask you to press "1" to find out how to lower your interest rate. The caller then wants your card number, this is a scam, we will never call you to give us your number to lower your rate.

Type: Card Fraud Alert
Alert: A new scam on Visa and MasterCard has started. The credit card company is supposedly calling customers asking if they purchased a particular item and they want to verify the numbers on the back of your card. DO NOT GIVE THESE NUMBERS OUT! The last three digits on your card are the security code and they want them so they can charge your card. Please contact us if you receive or have received a call similar to this as we will not and our credit card department will not ever ask you for this.
